What are some summer must haves?
A lot of fashionistas are rocking the maxi dress this season, with embellished flat sandals. Stripes & polka dots are huge, particularly on wardrobe pieces with a retro or vintage flair. Americana, ladylike styles are huge! Bright, 80′s neons are in, but should be balanced with neutral coordinating pieces, not layered on like the models in magazines. (If people have to put on sunglasses to talk to you, your clothes are too bright, Lol!)
Stow away your rocker t-shirts, unless you’re a teenager, and tap into your feminine side with colorful dresses that highlight your curves. Summer is all about the shoes, so go wild with a fun, colorful pair you fall in love with! From platforms to gladiators to lace-up men’s oxfords, pick a trend to experiment with and play with it: Summer is all about having fun with fashion!!!
